Anatomy of our RTS E-Cig

The vaporizer is a device consisting of a battery and a heating element. When activated, the heating element boils a small amount of liquid in the device, creating a vapor, which is then inhaled by the user.

BATTERY – housed power source usually charged through a USB.

TANK – component that houses the e-juice.  Inside is the atomizer that  heats up the e-juice and creates the vapor that's inhaled and exhaled.

MOUTH PIECE TIP – end where the vaporizer is inhaled.

E-LIQUID – water-based liquid that contains the nicotine. Comes in a variety of flavors. Four main ingredients: Nicotine, Propylene glycol, Vegetable glycerine, Flavoring

What is Vaping?

By definition, 'vaping' is the act of inhaling water vapor through a personal vaporizer or electronic cigarette. Vaping eliminates 4000 chemicals and carcinogenic compounds that come from real cigarettes, without compromising the act of 'smoking' itself. Vaping can also contain nicotine as an option for maximized effect of cigarette smoking.

Is it Safe?

Obviously, the smartest thing to do is to quit smoking altogether. But if it's not an option, vaping is always the better alternative. Still there are many questions left to be answered since vaping is a fairly new practice. But there are now more promising studies that show that vaping is a much safer practice than smoking.

E Liquid

E-liquid (or eJuice) is the liquid that is used to vaporize. E-Liquid typically contains Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Nicotine and Flavoring. The user can generally custom order your e-liquid by requesting a certain VG (Vegetable Glycerin) percentage and PG (Propylene Glycol) percentage. The user can also request a certain nicotine strength. The common nicotine strengths are from 0mg to 24mg. It is said to be safer to not exceed 24mg of nicotine and most electronic cigarette vendors will not offer more than that amount either.

What To Expect

When you first make the switch from tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes, you’ll notice many changes that are good. Some vapers have said that they could breathe better, get less winded, no more terrible coughs and another that I’ve heard from many – notice an improved better immune system. However, there are some things to expect that come with removing yourself from the 4,000 chemicals in tobacco cigarettes. Here are a few of those that we’ve heard of or experienced. (This doesn’t necessarily mean that this will happen to you.)

  • Headaches

  • Cold Sweats

  • Coughing

  • Chest Pains

History Of the Electronic Cigarette

The ecig was first patented by Hon Lik in 2003. While some believe the ecig was first patented in 1963 by Herbert Gilbert, Gilberts invention didn’t produce vapor.

The story began with a dream one night in 2000, when Hon Lik, a heavy tobacco cigarette smoker, suffered from respiratory infection. He coughed and wheezed constantly. Sickness made it difficult to sleep.  Finally, he was able to fall asleep, but immediately he was found himself drowning into a deep sea and dying imminently. Suddenly the sea water vaporized and he found himself lying on a wonderland full of
colorful fog. Wow! from dangerous sea water to colorful vapor, it is so beautiful! The dream inspired Hon Lik questing for a revolutionary electronic cigarette.

Hon Lik worked day and night to realize his dream. In 2004, he finally invented the electronic cigarette. It was a small battery powered device that delivered nicotine liquid solution in a vaporized form, fog, when inhaled air activates an atomizer. It had a red light at the tip that lighted up with each drag. It did not contain the substances commonly found in regular cigarettes, such as, tar and other cancer causing agents.

Hon Lik gave one of the first prototypes to his father, who was also a heavy tobacco smoke and dying of lung cancer at that time. His father enjoyed the electronic cigarette and was happy that with the device there would be fewer sons watching their fathers dying of lung cancers.

Over thirty percent (30%) of the entire world’s population are hurting by smoking regular cigarettes. Tobacco smoking kills one person every six seconds. With this revolutionary electronic cigarette, the “earn billions and kill millions” tobacco industry will be certainly transformed in the near future. Thanks to Hon Lik, We finally have the alternative method of delivering nicotine that is truly enjoyable. Hon Lik is a life-saving Hero.

New Study Says E-Cigs Pose “No Health Risk”

There is reason to rejoice, vapors: recently a study by Professor Igor Burstyn of the Drexel University School of Public Health, officially found that the ingredients and chemicals found in electronic cigarettes pose no health concern for users or bystanders! This is one of the first definitive studies of e-cigarette’s affect on both direct users and those who come in contact with “second hand” vapor exposure, and it found that there were no health concerns based on the generally accepted exposure limits.

By reviewing the chemistry of the vapor and the liquid in e-cigarettes, Dr. Burstyn determined that the levels of contaminants that e-cigarette users are exposed to are insignificant, and that they are far below levels that would pose any health risk.

Dr. Burstyn then turned his attention to people who come in contact with “second hand” vapor, and determined that there is no measureable health risk to bystanders who might inhale or otherwise come in contact with e-cigarette vapor.

This study is big news for a number of reasons:

  • Proposals to ban e-cigarettes in places where smoking is banned have been based on concern there is a potential risk to users and/or bystanders.

  • The FDA, always looking for an angle by which to be able to regulate electronic cigarettes has often cited to the fact that no studies had determined whether or not e-cigarette pose significant health risks to users. Dr. Burstyn’s study provides unbiased, scientific evidence concerning the health risks (or lack of) of using electronic cigarettes.
